YellowHead Mining came to us to tell their story of a unique copper deposit in British Columbia. Most copper deposits in BC are porphyry deposits. The Harper Creek Project is a copper-gold-silver volcanogenic sulphide deposit. This means this deposit has very little contaminants and is considered clean copper ore. We were commissioned by the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia (AME BC) to build a 20 minute documentary about First Nations involvement in the exploration and mining industry. We went to all four corners of the province and found some very intriguing examples of First Nations success in this industry. This video was also used by the BC government during a trade mission to China.
Mining and oil and gas exploration benefit from being able to see what is beneath the surface. We produced this unique story about how geoscientists are able to peer into the earth’s crust using gigantic vibrating machines. We are proud of this video as it appeals to the science geek within us.
My father-in-law went on his very first sail plane flight a few summers ago. He has flown radio controlled sail planes but never actually flown in a real sail plane. We got him a trip for a X-mas present and after a year and seven attempts cancelled due to bad weather, his maiden flight became reality. This is his experience captured for you to enjoy along with him.
